Writer’s Talk with The New York Times
If you are interested in taking an online creative writing course you should check out my new(ish) course Writer’s Talk: Writing Through Reading with The New York Times. The course focuses on writing craft, editorial, and the close reading of texts by guest authors. The course has hosted: Roddy Doyle, Nicholas Shakespeare, Deborah Eisenberg, Jonathan Lethem, Lydia Millet, Bill Gaston, Sheila Heti, Daniyal Mueenuddin, and various editors from the New York Times staff.
The course is intense and very interactive. I have had very positive feedback from students.
This term features Lynda Barry, Francine Prose, Andrew Pyper, Lydia Millet and Motoko Rich.
Have a look at the New York Times advertisement. For more information on the guest writers click on their names. It is going to be a stellar session.
